  1. Nerves of the (left) orbit, the eye muscles and the eyeball.
  2. Tympanic membrane with auditory ossicle, the chorda tympani and ganglion, on the left side, seen from the internal surface.
  3. Chorda tympani and the facial nerve and the inner half of the petrous portion of the temporal bone, from the left side and seen from the outside.
  4. The left middle ear with the facial nerve in the facial canal.
  5. Nerves of the palate and tongue.
  6. Nerves (from the vagus and sympathetic nervous system) to the posterior surface of the jaw and gullet.
  7. The sympathetic system with its ganglia and plexiform character, of the right body half.
