Three varieties of the radio-ulnar trunk.

Left: So-called independent or usual variety;
Middle: Trunk joined by the interosseous artery;
Right: Variation of the middle variety illustrates the primary contribution of the interosseous artery and the brachial artery is unusually diminutive.
